01 · THE CATALYST BEHIND THE CONCEPT
Airport travel should not make the flight feel like the cheaper part.
Born from a problem familiar to Dhanbad’s frequent flyers, DGC is a homegrown answer to airport journeys where the road transfer can cost almost as much as—and sometimes more than—the flight itself. Our owner experienced that imbalance repeatedly as a Dhanbad resident travelling through Durgapur, Ranchi and Kolkata, while conventional airport cabs also charged for the vehicle’s return.
Trains offered a cheaper alternative, but variable schedules, larger safety buffers and another transfer from the station to the terminal made a time-sensitive airport journey longer and more tiring. DGC was created to offer a third choice—a premium EV journey shared by only three passengers. The model is designed to bring each traveller’s share closer to one-third of a comparable full-car hire, with no tailpipe emissions during the journey.
Safety without shortcuts.
Our operating standard prioritises vetted drivers, vehicles selected for credible safety credentials, fixed published routes and no discretionary detours. The safety of women passengers is a paramount requirement, not a marketing add-on.
Shared-seat checkout is handled through Razorpay. Payment credentials are entered into Razorpay’s secure systems and are not stored by DGC.

Better airport access, expanded responsibly.
The Durgapur Airport Shuttle is our first scheduled shared service. Our longer-term vision is to connect Dhanbad with Durgapur, Deoghar, Ranchi and Kolkata through premium shared EV journeys, adding each route only when it can meet the DGC operating standard.
Bokaro is part of the planned network when commercial airport operations permit. Until then, it is not presented as an active route.
